Matthew Brown
Structural Technician
Matthew joined our team at SWJ Consulting at the start of September 2020 for a year’s placement as a Structural Technician. He has recently finished his second year studying Civil Engineering at the University of Exeter and after his year placement with us, he will be returning to the University of Exeter for an additional 2 years to complete his masters degree.
During Matthew’s placement year he is hoping to improve his technical skills and learn more about the realities of working within the structural engineering industry that will help him with his studies and his career after graduating.
As well as studying engineering Matthew is learning how to speak German and has a few hobbies including sailing on a laser dinghy and playing badminton.
